| The basics Purpetrator was a 1998 Ford Ranger XLT. It was 2 wheel-drive and had the 2.5L engine with automatic transmission. The exterior color was Boysenberry Pearl Clearcoat and the interior was grey. Ford only offered the Boysenberry Pearl color in 1998 for a limited number of Rangers. It was purple with blue metallic. |

The History of the truck September 27, 2000 - Neighbor backed into rear passenger-side fender. August, 2001 - Painted interior pieces. September 3, 2001 - Installed gutter guard grille inserts. November 4, 2001 - Painted sill plates. January 19, 2002 - Painted Ford ovals. January 25, 2002 - Installed new radio. February 24, 2002 - Air box mod. March 25, 2002 - Removed Chrome Nerf Bars March 28, 2002 - Added gutter guard insert to front bumper/valance. June 29, 2002 - Installed purple pedal covers. August 2, 2002 - Removed factory pinstripe. April, 2003 - Installed clear corner lights, euro taillights, purple wire loom and braided hose with purple fittings in engine. May 3, 2003 - Installed LeBra tonneau cover May, 2003 - Custom tweed interior work has begun. So far, tweed inserts on the doors and custom flamed tweed headliner. May 30, 2003 - Had tires put on new stock chrome Ford rims. Future of the Truck
